Two tools. Your creative direction.

MIDI Composer

Find the starting point for an ambient piece. Build an evolving arrangement across seven layers, then bring it to life with your own instruments.

Exports MIDI notes and timing, not recorded audio. Compatible music software and your own sounds are required; no instruments or sound libraries are included.

Frequency Studio

Create pure tones, binaural beats or monaural beats to combine with your own music. Set the frequency, level and fades to suit your production.

Exports separate WAV tone audio, not MIDI or a finished ambient recording. Use headphones for binaural listening and start at a low volume.

Room for the music to develop

Explore a direction

Try a different mood or harmonic direction without starting from a blank arrangement.

Keep what works

Regenerate one layer while retaining the rest, so a new idea need not replace the whole piece.

Make it your sound

Take the MIDI into your DAW and choose the instruments, textures and mix yourself.

From an idea to your own production

01
Set your musical direction and generate an arrangement.
02
Listen, refine the layers and export your MIDI.
03
Add your own instruments in your DAW and develop the final sound.

Compatibility

Your browser. Your instruments.

A modern compatible browser with JavaScript enabled runs the standalone HTML application. MIDI import requires compatible music software and your own sounds.

Designed for modern desktop browsers on Windows and macOS. We recommend Chrome or Edge for large Frequency Studio WAV exports, which write directly to disk; other browsers use a memory-based fallback suited to shorter exports. Windows use has been tested by the creator; Mac testing is still being completed. Tablets and phones are not officially supported.

Licence

Create for personal or commercial use

The supplied customer licence permits personal and professional music creation and commercial use of music developed from generated MIDI and of original Frequency Studio WAV audio, without royalties or attribution to Simply Hypnotic.

Generated note sequences and tones are not guaranteed unique or exclusive. You are responsible for originality, clearance and the licences of any third-party instruments or sounds. The application itself may not be shared or redistributed. Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
