Refunds

If something is not right

We would rather you had a recording you love than money we did not deserve. Here is our position, written plainly.

Digital content and the 14-day cooling-off period

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you normally have 14 days to cancel an online purchase. For digital content that is downloaded or streamed, that right ends once delivery begins — provided you agreed to immediate access and acknowledged that you would lose the right to cancel.

At checkout you are asked to agree to immediate access before payment. If you do not agree, we cannot release the recording immediately, and your cancellation right remains for 14 days.

When we will refund you

Whatever the strict legal position, we will refund you in these circumstances, and we will not make it difficult:

  • The recording is faulty, incomplete, corrupted or not as described.
  • You were charged twice, or charged for something you did not order.
  • You bought a recording you already owned.
  • You have not yet listened to or downloaded the recording and you ask within 14 days.

When we usually cannot refund

Once you have listened to or downloaded a recording in full, we cannot generally offer a refund simply because it was not to your taste. This is why every recording has a preview — please use it before buying. Faults and billing errors are always put right.

How to ask

Write to info@simplyhypnotic.net with the email address you used at checkout and a sentence about what went wrong. We aim to reply within two working days.

Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method through Stripe, usually within five to ten working days depending on your bank.

Your statutory rights

Nothing here affects your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which entitles you to digital content of satisfactory quality that matches its description. If you would like the full terms, see our Terms & Conditions.
