Terms

Terms & Conditions

These terms apply when you buy from or use this website. They are written to be read, not to be endured. By placing an order you accept them.

Who we are

This website is operated by Simply Hypnotic, trading as Simply Hypnotic, of [TRADING ADDRESS]. [COMPANY NUMBER, if a registered company]. [VAT NUMBER, or 'not VAT registered']. You can reach us at info@simplyhypnotic.net.

Purchasing digital recordings

Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include any tax that applies. Placing an order is an offer to buy; the contract is formed when we confirm your payment and access is prepared. If a price or description is obviously wrong, we may decline the order and refund you in full.

Customer accounts

You may buy as a guest. We prepare a library for the email address you give us, and you can set a password afterwards to open it. You must give an email address you control and keep your details accurate.

Your licence to use the recordings

When you buy a recording you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to listen to it for your own private enjoyment, on your own devices, for as long as you like. You do not buy the recording itself.

Copyright and intellectual property

All recordings, artwork, text and design on this website belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright. Nothing on the site transfers ownership to you.

What you may not do

Unless we have licensed it separately in writing, you may not:

  • Share, upload, resell, rent or redistribute a recording, in whole or in part.
  • Use a recording in videos, podcasts, courses, apps, streams, advertising, therapy practice or any other commercial context.
  • Play a recording in a public or commercial setting.
  • Remix, sample, edit or create derivative works from a recording.
  • Remove or interfere with any protection, watermark or credit.
  • Attempt to obtain the audio by means other than your library.

Commercial licences are available and we are happy to discuss them. Please write to us.

Payment

Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details. If a payment is reversed or charged back, we may suspend access to the affected purchases while we look into it.

Delivery and access

Access is prepared automatically as soon as payment completes, normally within moments. Recordings appear in your library, where you can listen online or download a copy. Download links are deliberately short-lived for security; you can generate a fresh one from your library at any time.

Looking after your account

You are responsible for keeping your password private and your account secure. Please tell us promptly if you think someone else has access. We may suspend an account where we see sharing of purchased content.

Availability of the service

We work to keep the website available and your library reachable, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted for maintenance or reasons beyond our control. We may change, withdraw or replace individual recordings; if we withdraw something you have bought, you keep access to your copy wherever we are able to provide it, and we will tell you in advance where we can.

Refunds and cancellation

Because recordings are digital and delivered immediately, your statutory 14-day cancellation right ends once access begins and you have agreed to that at checkout. We still refund faults, billing errors and unopened purchases. The full position is in our Refund Policy.

Using the website

Please use the site lawfully and reasonably: no attempts to break security, scrape the catalogue, overload the service or interfere with other people's use of it.

Wellbeing

Our recordings are made for rest, calm and focus. They are not medical treatment and are not a substitute for professional advice. Please do not listen while driving or operating machinery. If you have a health concern, speak to a qualified practitioner.

Limitation of liability

We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded — including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Beyond that, we are not liable for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, for business losses, or for indirect losses. Where we are liable, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.

Changes

We may update these terms as the service grows. The version on this page at the time of your order is the one that applies to it, and the date above shows when we last made a change.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you may bring proceedings in your own country.
